It was moved by Member Ali and seconded by Member Whitfield to approve Rick Ehrhart as a new member of the Building Committee. The committee also plans to look into the feasibility of technology moving into the space at some point in time. The committee set a goal of summer 2023 for transportation to move into the building and maintenance a goal of summer 2024. The Building Committee meeting was a goal setting and information gathering session for the new transportation building renovation. The final phase of renovation work at Quincy Junior High School wrapped up over the summer and the QHS stage curtain and rigging is on schedule to be completed prior to the fall musical. Work on the new board office roof is underway with delays in getting materials pushing the project completion to mid-September. We kicked off the 2022-2023 school year with the first in-person gathering since 2019 with an electric atmosphere and a positive start to a great year!
